The Anvers Wines estate is nestled on a family-owned block near Kangarilla, in Southern end of the cool climate of the Adelaide Hills. Uniquely positioned on the border of the McLaren Vale GI, the North facing vineyards sit at an elevation of 383 metres above sea level and benefit from a cooling nightly South-Eastern breeze. The unique terroir combines buckshot ironstone, shoal and quartz incorporated with medium clay soils.

While named for the Belgian meeting place of the owners, Anvers is proudly Adelaide Hills centric with a commitment to growing first class local grape varieties and a view to make climate and region-appropriate wines from our low yielding estate. 16 hectares have been planted with varieties such as Shiraz, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gamay, Barbera and Pinot Gris. Anvers is proud to be a certified member of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia since 2023.

Their Cellar Door is situated in the attached original dairy block built in the 1940s, which has been lovingly updated and now opens into the modern dining room. Its a visual reminder merging history and future, the place and purpose.

Guests are invited to taste the current vintage wines, including some Cellar Door exclusives.
