Welcome to Barossa Central!

We are located in the heart of the beautiful Barossa Valley, in the township of Nuriootpa. What started out as one shop in the main street in 1944, has evolved into an offering of more than 30 stores and a ‘central’ hub that offers a unique Barossa experience. Explore our stores below, and we hope we can tempt you to visit us soon. There is something for everyone here at Barossa Central.

Acknowledgement of Country

Standing on Kaurna Country, the South Australian Tourism Commission recognises the uniquely diverse Aboriginal communities across the state.

We value the knowledge Aboriginal people hold of Country and culture and are committed to growing genuine relationships with Traditional Custodians.

We will continue our journey of reconciliation and support Aboriginal tourism operators and communities to tell their own stories and share their culture with the world.
