Battunga Cottages is a peaceful rural retreat offering four self-contained 19th Century style cottages on a privately owned 86 acre property in Watervale, South Australia. The cottages are fully equipped with all modern amenities and can host up to 4 guests, with total accommodation for 12.

Choose from a two-bedroom or one-bedroom cottages or book all four for that long overdue girls/guys getaway. All cottages include a separate living area with a kitchenette, bathroom, and a wood fireplace. Cooked and continental breakfast supplies are provided from the best local producers. Our provisions include a welcome bottle of Watervale Riesling and Barossa Valley cheeses on arrival.

The perfect spot after a day of wine tasting and epicurean delights or having enjoyed cycling the Riesling Trail, appreciating the perfect panorama of the Clare Valley on one of the best bike trails in South Australia.

And while you are here, take some time to just chill. Follow the resident mob of Kangaroo's trail through magnificent gums' and see the sunrise over the vineyards. At sunset, sipping your cellar door bootie, relaxing on your private veranda, listen to the chorus of magpies, galahs, and kookaburras sing their evening song. And don't forget before you go to bed, look up and view the magnificent stars of southern skies.
