Beautiful Valley Caravan Park

Wilmington's Beautiful Valley Caravan Park has a spacious, tree-studded caravan and cabin setting together with 30 acres of bushland for bird watching, and exploring. Outside of the fire ban season, guests can enjoy a warming, social campfire in the provided fire pits with timber available for purchase.

The park offers nine cabins and four units providing accommodation for a single person up to a family of six while the 35+ powered caravan sites can easily accommodate the largest caravans and five-wheelers.

Families are very welcome and are well catered for with a children’s playground, recreation and games room, camp kitchen and barbecue facilities.

There is a wonderful abundance of wildlife in the park including several bird species and Kookaburra families. One of the largest possum populations in the Flinders Ranges lives in the park and is a delight to watch at night.

The park is conveniently located opposite Alligator Gorge Road which takes visitors on a scenic 12 km paved drive into the Mount Remarkable National Park to Alligator Gorge, one of South Australia’s renowned tourist destinations. Guests can conveniently pay for their National Park pass before setting off.

Located only 30 minutes from Port Augusta, through Horrocks Pass, the park is an ideal location to base your exploration of the many towns and sights amongst the beautiful Southern Flinders Ranges.
