Tour

Unlock the secrets of Burra's remarkable mining heritage with the Burra Heritage Passport Key, available from the Burra & Goyder Visitor Information Centre or online via Visit Burra.

With the Passport Key in hand, visitors follow the printed map on a treasure hunt throughout the town, gaining exclusive access to 11 of Burra's most fascinating heritage sites, including the Redruth Gaol, Unicorn Brewery Cellars and the iconic Miners Dugouts.

This self-guided experience allows you to explore at your own pace, giving you the freedom to linger longer and uncover the stories behind each location. To fully appreciate the tour and all it has to offer, a two-day stay is recommended, with the key remaining valid for the duration of your visit.

Visitors can also present their Passport Key at the Bon Accord Mine Museum to receive discounted entry, adding even more depth to the journey through Burra's rich copper mining history.

Operating for more than forty years, the Burra Heritage Passport remains one of South Australia's most iconic and immersive self-guided heritage experiences.
