SALA. - In Mclaren Flat. Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday In August.

Unique quality glass bowls, platters and suncatchers that transmit light in a special way. Visit their studio to see the 2025 new creations.

James Cowley designs, creates, and makes unique, intentionally affordable pieces for your home, office, or someone special.

He specialises in creating bowls that replicate the light that touches our feelings when we see stained glass windows. Light works with Elf-glass to create magic that inspires, touches one's feelings and lifts our spirits. And each day it keeps giving to us. He also make platters and suncatchers.

James is largely self-taught but has also studied with seven world-class glass artists over the last 20 years to perfect his technique. Each piece is designed individually, fired and hand finished. Every item is different so this is the 2025 collection and they only open their studio once a year for SALA.

What you see is made right here, and you can meet the glassmaker. Please feel welcome to visit. 20% of everything goes to the Fred Hollows Foundation so others can see light.
