Experience Glenelg: Adelaide’s favourite seaside destination

Chuck on your bathers and jump on a tram from Adelaide and in just 20 minutes you’ll be sprawled out on a towel soaking in the sun at Adelaide’s favourite city beach, Glenelg. Walk along the foreshore, grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants dotting Jetty Road and check out the boutique shops. Cast a line off the jetty, sail around the bay at sunset or swim with wild dolphins before kicking your shoes off and pulling up a seat at a bar without even your toes out the sand. Come summer, Glenelg is home to Australia’s only official bar on the beach, Moseley Beach Club; the perfect spot to sip cocktails on a balmy evening surrounded by white sand and lapping waves.
