Greenock Brewers is a micro brewery dedicated to the creation and enjoyment of quality ales and lagers, using only the best ingredients without additives or preservatives. In accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516, they use only four ingredients in making their beer. These are water, malt, hops and yeast. The goal it to create beers of quality with an emphasis on appearance, aroma and taste. Cellar door is situated in a 150 year old wheat store in Greenock where visitors can taste and purchase Greenock's beers. Tours of the brewery are also available. There's also a beer garden for customers to enjoy a glass or two, use of their barbeque and also have on offer local cheese and chorizo platters.
