Attraction
Hummocks Station is built in colorful iron stone, and was established in the early 1860’s. The Station includes the original homestead, restored shearers quarters and many original out buildings. In 2022 a Heritage Tourism Grant was received to refurbish the Heritage Listed Trap Shed and Stables with Work completed in 2023 and a grand opening in May 23.

In the renovated historic Trap Shed is the reception area for the Tourism Park, coffee, cake, gifts and Leahcim Wool.

The Poll Merino wool is grown ethically and sustainably on family-run farms in South Australia. Over the last 30 years, the passion for growing elite wool, along with a love of technology has allowed to bring this soft, luxurious wool from "Farm to Yarn to You".

The wool is fully produced and processed in Australia! There are a variety of woolen products ranging from craft yarn to knitted/woven products. There are 4ply and 8ply skeins, which have been hand-dyed in-house using a range of block and variegated colours. In addition, handmade woven scarves and crochet beanies and wool kits are also available. The company has partnered with Silver Fleece in Adelaide, who commercially knit jumpers, scarves, beanies, cowls, lap rugs and baby blankets. These come in a few different colours and have proven to be very popular.
