YHA Port Elliot is situated in a historic building directly opposite Horseshoe Bay Beach on South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula. Facilities include a well-equipped shared kitchen, spacious dining and lounge areas.

Guests at YHA Port Elliot have a choice of shared dormitory-style rooms with free secure lockers or private rooms with a work desk and easy access to shared bathroom facilities. Also for something more private, double rooms with private ensuite are on offer/subject to availability.

Bicycles are available for hire. The tour desk can book whale/dolphin watching tours, Swim with Tuna experience, surfing lessons, coastal scenic cruises, nature and penguin tours and tours of Kangaroo Island.

The quaint village of Port Elliot with its local produce, people, restaurants and bars are only a short five-minute walk from YHA Port Elliot Beach House. The busy town of Victor Harbor is only 10 minutes drive away. LinkSA operates a luxury coach from Adelaide to Port Elliot and the terminal is just 400 metres from the hostel.
