There are several campgrounds near Port Gibbon. Port Gibbon is located 23km south west of Cowell.

Situated in the centre of Port Gibbon is the Jetty Campground, providing 7 designated sites situated near toilets, coin operated showers, playground and dump point.

Other campgrounds just a few kms up the road and situated on the beach front are:
