Open Mic Night at Old Mill Brewery is a lively, welcoming Thursday night where local talent takes centre stage and the room does the rest.

Step inside Tanunda's historic 1848 mill and you'll find a high-energy, pub-style space built for connection. The mic is open. Music, comedy, poetry and storytelling flow freely. Some acts are polished. Some are brave first-timers. Every set brings a spark, and the crowd is always part of the experience.

Built by four Barossa locals, Old Mill Brewery brings together the region's best beer, wine and food under one iconic roof. Expect fresh, small-batch beers from Rehn Bier and Forage Brew Co., premium local wines from Forage Supply Co., and a kitchen serving bold, crowd-pleasing plates. From southern-style barbecue and pub favourites to lighter, modern options, there's something for everyone, with plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian choices available.

Guests can jump up and perform or settle in for the night with a proper feed and a tasting paddle in hand. Conversations carry between sets. Glasses refill. The night unfolds naturally, with no pressure and no pretence.

Relaxed, inclusive and proudly community-driven, Open Mic Night captures what the Mill does best. Locals backing locals in a space that feels easy, welcoming and alive.

Dog-friendly, family-friendly and full of Barossa character, this is a Thursday night worth planning around.
