Day 1 Arrival at the Port Lincoln Hotel

Optional: If you've taken some time off to arrive early, you can take this time heading to Coffin Bay and book an Oyster Farm Experience. The airport has vehicle hire companies available including Europcar.
Tip travelling from Adelaide: you can catch the 7:10pm flight arriving in Port Lincoln at 8pm. Earlier flights are also available; you can visit Rex' and Qantas' websites to check regional flights availability.
Day 2 Wild starts early, slow comes later
Spend the morning choosing your flavour of wild: a half‑day 4WD and wildlife adventure with Australian Coastal Safaris, an electric mountain bike ride along coastal tracks, or a Whalers Way safari where cliffs, surf and wildlife steal the show.
By mid‑afternoon, it’s time to slow right down. Step aboard a Marina Canal Cruise at 2pm and drift through Port Lincoln’s waterfront neighbourhoods, warming up as the day eases toward evening. Back on land, use your dining voucher for a relaxed dinner at Sarin’s Restaurant — a comfortable finish after a day spent out in the elements.
Day 3 Coastal roads and winter light
Pick up a hire car from Port Lincoln Vehicle Rentals and head out while the light is soft, winding your way to Winter Hill Lookout for sweeping views back over town. From there, continue on to Tumby Bay — a winter‑quiet stretch of coast where colourful street art brightens the foreshore and beach walks pair perfectly with coffee in hand and pastries from the local bakery enjoyed slowly.
On the way back, stop in at The Fresh Fish Place for a casual seafood lunch, then spend the afternoon exploring Lincoln National Park and the wild beauty of Memory Cove Wilderness Protection Area. Rugged cliffs, sheltered bays and winter skies make this the kind of day that feels full without being rushed — before returning the car and heading back to Adelaide.
