Château Tanunda, Icon of the Barossa, was established in 1890 as Australia's first true winemaking Château.

It's an awe-inspiring place to visit, combining historic winery buildings and a stunning cellar door offering internationally acclaimed wines. The building is surrounded by vineyards and beautifully landscaped gardens, a great place to stop and relax while in the valley.

The picturesque cellar door offers the chance to taste and purchase from the Château Tanunda wine range while surrounded by hundreds of oak barrels of maturing wine. Stroll outside the cellar door to the stunning croquet green and have a go at this wonderful old game or book one of their wine tours or experiences to take your Château visit to the next level.

Within the historic building on the top floor are elegant and atmospheric conference and function facilities suitable for group wine experiences and functions of all types.

Structured tastings and group bookings are available by appointment by phone or online.
