Event
South Australia comes alive with artwork every August, as thousands of artists show their work in venues across the state for the SALA (South Australian Living Artists) Festival. Most events are free to attend.

You'll find art just about anywhere during SALA – from art galleries, cafes, libraries and pubs, to shop windows, fences, and even projected on huge grain silos! A range of art forms are represented in the festival: painting, sculpture, drawing, glass, ceramics, photography, moving image, textiles, and more.

Discover established and emerging artists, and creatives whose work reflects their surroundings – from the Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, Fleurieu Peninsula, Limestone Coast, Eyre Peninsula, Riverland, Flinders Ranges, and beyond.

SALA Festival also features artist talks and demonstrations, workshops, performances, and unique opportunities to visit artists in their studios.

There is something for everyone in SALA Festival – be sure to check out the hundreds of events in this year's SALA Program via the SALA website or the SALA App.
