Located on Main Street in historic Hahndorf, The German Village Shop was first established in 1989. The German Village Shop has been recently updated for a more magical experience.

Visitors are invited in the giant nutcracker guarded doors! To a space that has been transformed into a typical Christmas Bavarian village. Visitors are encouraged to stand and watch the Cuckoo Clocks as they make their calls - with a clock cuckoo-ing every few minutes, the room of clocks is worth a look.

Working the way through the shop, there is an abundance to see, from an entire wall of traditional Beer steins (and a video to watch how they are made), alcoves of delightful Christmas decorations, nutcrackers, clay miniature buildings and much more.

There is even an entire room dedicated to toys - with a working train chugging it's way around the ceiling!

The friendly and informative staff are there to provide visitors with all the information they may need about German made products, or just to show visitors how the cuckoo's work.

With so many opportunities to for photographs in-store and out, The German Village Shop makes you feel like you've been transported to Germany!
